Loyalty Pet Raptor / Raptor X Undercoat Rakes

The Loyalty Pet Raptor and Raptor X undercoat rakes are suitable for a wide range of breeds.

The Raptor model comes with 12 coarse teeth, while the Raptor X has 24 teeth to get that undercoat looking great. Pick your model and your handle color pattern when ordering.

Why should a groomer use these?

Undercoat rakes can be used on a wet or a dry coat and groomers should start with a wider toothed rake, then move to narrower teeth as the tool pulls through more easily, removing less and less coat.

On shedding breeds, these can remove dead, fuzzy undercoat in minutes, yet leave the topcoat shiny and healthy. The Raptor and Raptor X work well on many coat types including double-coated breeds, heavy coats, and rustic coat types. They work exceptionally well on any breed that is hand-stripped like many of the Sporting or Terrier breeds. On harsh-coated dogs, they mimic the hand-stripped look quickly and easily.
